Hitachi - inspire the next

EMC2012 is the perfect place to find out what’s new and exciting in electron microscopy. To find out how Hitachi is helping to transform electron microscopy why not join us in Manchester in September. You can get hands on with the very latest instrumentation, you can join our comprehensive workshop programme or you can arrange a one-to-one discussion with our applications specialists and designers.

As the global leader in benchtop SEM, Hitachi continues to innovate in this new and important area of microscopy. Join our “Clever little SEM” workshop (Weds 19th Sept, 14.45) to see how advanced and automated EDX can be carried out, or book a session on the instrument to see how such a compact and cost effective instrument can do more than you ever thought possible.

The ground breaking SU3500 brings a new-dimension to variable pressure SEM….in every sense. On show for the first time in Europe this meticulously engineered instrument brings new levels of imaging clarity and analytical performance to this class of instrument. 3D imaging capability in real time, coupled with new low aberration optics and high sensitivity detectors, make this the most powerful thermionic emitter instrument available today. You can learn more in the dedicated workshop session (Tues 18th Sept, 13.15) or book in advance to get hands-on with the instrument.

Hitachi’s field emission SEMs have a long held reputation for providing the very highest imaging capability and detection flexibility. The latest SU8030 cold field emission SEM will be available for demonstration, including the unique triple detection system for SE, BSE and surface potential imaging – ideal for comprehensive understanding of the latest nanomaterials. Ground breaking data from the world’s highest resolution SEM/STEM, the Hitachi SU9000, will also be presented in a workshop session (Weds 19th Sept, 13.15).

With such rapid advances in microscope technology it’s also important to recognise the continued importance of proper sample preparation in order to fully utilise the power of the latest microscopes. Hitachi’s new IM4000 hybrid Argon ion mill is playing an increasingly important role in the modern EM lab – you can learn more about argon ion milling for cross-section or surface preparation in a workshop session (Thurs 20th Sept, 13.15) or by seeing it in action at the show.

Hitachi’s innovative HT7700 digital TEM will also be on show – forming an integral part of the “Learning Zone” activity, and showcasing Hitachi’s commitment to be at the forefront of applying new digital imaging technology to microscopy.

To book hands-on time on one of the instruments, to join one of the workshops or to arrange a discussion with one of our specialist’s about any aspect of electron microscopy just contact us now at eminfo@hht-eu.com.
